Volkswagen Vento And Polo To Get Expensive From September
Volkswagen India, the Indian alliance of German carmaker Volkswagen has announced to hike the prices of compact sedan Vento and hatchback Polo from September 1, 2021. According to reports, the price of the Polo hatchback will increase up to 3 per cent and the compact sedan Vento will witness a hike of 2 per cent. The hike will vary according to the variant purchased by the customer. The sources of the company have confirmed that this hike will not affect the prices of the GT variant and the Polo carline.

This year it is the second time that the company has hiked the prices of both the Polo and Vento. Earlier this in January the company had hiked their prices. This time the company has not revealed the reason, the industry experts believe that it is due to the increasing cost of inputs. At present, the company is going to launch the compact SUV Taigun in the Indian car market.

In the official statement, issued by the sources of the company, this hike will not affect the units of Polo and Vento booked till August 31, 2021. The ex-showroom price of Polo starts from Rs 6.27 lakh and the price of Vento starts from Rs 9.99 lakh. The price of the Polo GT variant is not mentioned in this price tag.
