Volkswagen Vento Highline to get Leatherette clad seats
The to-be Volkswagen Vento buyers need to wait a little more before they will be getting Leatherette seats. The Leatherette seats will be available on the Volkswagen Vento Highline models. These will replace the fabric seats that are currently offered on the Vento. This will also put Vento in a different price segment which will also help it to be different from recently launched Skoda Rapid. The new addition to the interior will also increase the price of the Volkswagen sedan in India. Presently, the Volkswagen Vento price in India starts at Rs 6.5 Lakh.

In addition to the addition of the Leatherette seats in the new Vento, the new car will also be having parking sensors, RCD Music System with USB & Auxiliary input, Steering mounted controls and a lot of additions here and there inside the car. The 1.6L TDI turbo diesel engine will continue its services in the Vento diesel and overall the new Vento will be inheriting the same USPs like superb handling from its outgoing gen.

The new Vento with Leatherette seats and other features will be a boon for people living in hotter cities of the country. The new trims are expected to make the Vento costlier but the company is still offering attractive discounts of over Rs 60,000 which has attracted much attention of the car buyers leading to promising sales of this sedan in India. Furthermore, the addition of these features will help position Vento at a better standing among the premium sedans in India. Apart from this, it is reportedly known that the price of the Vento in India is soon to increase following the high input costs and other factors. Experts believe that there will be a 1-3 percent rise in the prices of Volkswagen cars in India in the coming days.
