Volkswagen Vento Special Edition ‘Preferred” launched
With an objective to overcome the competition receiving from Skoda Rapid Ultima, German car maker Volkswagen has launched the Special Edition of its sedan Vento named as Preferred in Indian car market. The special edition impinges few new added features while retaining the existing mechanical specifications as available in existing model. The new features offered in Preferred edition includes chrome lining on window, alloys wheels, sun door visors and side door protectors. On the rear portion it receives boot lid spoiler, and nameplate of Preferred attached with logo of Vento.
Moving towards the features offered in interiors it receives reverse parking camera, door scuff plates and few more. Apart from this it also offers one year free insurance for first year followed by road side assistance for four years. The Preferred Edition is offered in both petrol and diesel trims. Moving ahead if customers intend to add additional accessories then company is offering the package of same on the payment of Rs. 75,000.
After this launch it is speculated that company will also offer the facelift version of Vento during the upcoming festive season starting from the month of September this year. Company has already displayed the facelift Polo earlier this year during Geneva Motor Show.
