According to recent reports Swedish car maker is speculating to launch S60 Polestar sedan in Indian car market sometimes during the first half of next year. The upcoming sedan is perfect blend of luxuriousness and superior performance. It is speculated that S60 Polestar will be empowered with 1,969cc four cylinder, 2.0 litre engine boosting the power of 367 bhp and torque of 470Nm. The upcoming version of S60 Polestar is considered as refreshed version of its erstwhile edition which although was enriched with 3.0 litre but boosted the power of 345 bhp. Similarly the transmission duty in this upgraded version will be looked by eight speed automatic gearbox rather than six speed transmission system found in its first generation version. Other incentives adorned in the new version are strong suspension system, large turbo and efficient fuel pump and enhanced air intake system.

 

 

According to company sources the high performing sedan will reach the mark from standstill to 100 km/h in the span of 4.7 seconds followed by top notch of 250 km/h. The new version of Polestar S60 is said to be 15 kgs lighter than the previous versions and offer improved handling efficiency. Industry experts consider and Volvo S60 Polestar as the master piece of delicate beauty which at first instance leaves an impression of S60 sedan. The front and rear portion are equipped with sportier bumper, newly developed front splitter and rear spoiler offering improved downforce.

 

It seems that in recent years Swedish car maker has changed the its production strategy and is now focusing on cars that are not only enriched with safety features but also carry mesmerizing view with improved performance. The reports reveal that company is also planning to expand its dealership network to II tier cities like Jaipur, Lucknow and Pune.
