Volvo To Launch V90 Cross Country In India On July 12, 2017
Volvo India, the Indian alliance of Swedish car maker is ready to bring a revolution in Indian car market by launching the first ever type of estate wagon in India christened as Volvo V90 Cross Country on July 12, 2017. An interesting feature of V90 Cross Country is eye catching look like a sedan and embellishes the ground clearance similar to SUV, the estate wagon is however developed on platform used for developing S 90 sedan.

Mechanically the V90 Cross Country will be empowered with 2 litre diesel engine boosting the power of 235 bhp and mated with eight speed automatic transmission system. As far as safety features are concerned alike all Volvo car it will also be equipped with all contemporary safety features and offered with all wheel drive option as standard feature. In India it will be brought through completely built unit road (CBU) and speculated to be offered with price tag of Rs. 75 lakh (ex-showroom).
Talking about the exterior features, as the V90 Cross Country is developed on the same platform as used for developing S90 sedan it carries almost most of its exterior features similar to it. The striking grille with Thor’s Hammer LED DRLs reminds about the S90 at first instance. Apart from this you will also find newly developed bumpers equipped with faux skid plate, plastic black cladding at the belt line and aluminium garnished roof rails.

On the interior front you will witness the use of superior quality soft touch materials, tablet sized touchscreen infotainment system mounted over the central console. Moving ahead the dual tone interior treatment comprising of tan brown leather seats and black dashboard further enhance the view of interiors. With all these unique features you will also see huge use of silver garnish at different places, giving it more unique look.
