Will Toyota Innova 2016 be offered with Automatic Transmission System?
After launch of refreshed Innova SUV back in January this year, the generation next Innova is in pipeline of the Japanese car maker and regular reports about the new features that would be offered in that version has raised the curiosity among the car enthusiasts across the country. The generation next Innova is slated for launch during the first quarter of next year. According to recent updates the new Innova will include introduction of new engine line-up including 2.4 litre or 2.5 litre diesel engine and may be offered with five speed manual and five speed or six speed automatic transmission system.
Moving towards the changes that would be offered apart from above mentioned engine integration would involve cosmetic changes on both the exteriors and interiors. This will include newly developed bumpers on both front and rear portions, hexagon front grille, enlarged air dam, projector headlamps with LED DRLs and fog lights. The new Innova is reported to be light weighted than the existing version of Innova in market.
The interiors are reported to be offered with dual tone colored interiors followed by three spoke steering wheel and newly developed multi-info touchscreen. It is rumored that the new Innova may be named as Innova Cross and is expected to touch Indian roads sometimes during the middle of next year. After launch it will compete against Nissan Evalia, Honda Mobilio and Enjoy from Chevrolet.
