What will be your reaction if after enjoying a fun-filled weekend with your family you receive a text message from the regional traffic office for violating the traffic rule by crossing the red light? Obviously, you will be surprised to receive such annoying message and that also when you were not stopped by the traffic cop while returning back to home. Well, this practice is soon going to take place across the country in the coming months. And, an initiative for this improvement mainly goes to the department of transportation which is emphasizing on bringing all information related to its department online, strictly according to the government of India’s endeavors of making all the government processes online.

Interestingly, following this practice the Ministry of Transportation is adopting the practice of making all its information available online. The Fastag news in this regards is already making its fuss among the people. According to this it is now mandatory for all the commercial vehicles coming in Delhi to get the Fastag and soon the provision will be implemented on all the vehicles coming into Delhi.
Anyhow, being a law abiding citizen you never break any of the traffic rules and moreover as you are not stopped by any of the traffic cops you are sure that no traffic law has been violated by you. Interestingly, the climax of your reaching home safely is yet to come and that also not through your main door as shown in the movies or television serials but in the form of a SMS on your phone. Yes, there are chances when willingly or unwillingly you have broken the traffic rules and that has been recorded by the devices installed on the crossings that came into your way.
It would be interesting to know that recently, most of the people in the areas of Delhi and NCR received an SMS saying that they have violated the MV Act, and their E-Challan can be seen on the link mentioned at the beneath of the message. And, the most surprising element of this message was that when they clicked the link referred in the message they found an E-Challan with an image of their vehicle followed by the exact date and time when it violated the MV Act.
