Zagato celebrates 95 years of its successful existence
Italy based coachbuilder Zagato is celebrating 95 years of its successful existence in global car market. To commemorate the event coachbuilder is organizing an exhibition where it will display nine of its best creations having the perfect blend of classics and contemporary car models. The exhibition would be concluded at Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile “Avv. Giovanni Agnelli” in Turin and will continue till March 15, 2014.
The oldest model to be showcased during the exhibition would be 1933 Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 Testafissa Zagato. The next model to showcase its passion would Lancia Aprilia Sport Zagato b uilt in 1936 by Enrico Minetti. Moving ahead the next car to represent the heritage of veteran cars would Maserati A6G/54 develolped in 1954, the car was empowered with 2.0 litre six cylinder engine boosting the power between 160-170 bjhp. It was one of the fastest racing car at that time and today it one of the highly available racing car in world. Lancia Fulvia SuperSport Zagato made in 1967 and showcased during Turin Motor Show. To celebrate the 100 years, Alfa Romeo and Zagato came up with an interesting piece of art named as Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale. In 2012 German luxurious car maker BMW joined hands of Zagato to develop a high speed aerodynamic car named as BMW Zagato Coupe. And finally the last but not the least Aston Martin Virage Shooting Brake Zagato would be the last representative of Zagato which will showcase its charm during the exhibition.
