Highly disappointed by Fiat Linea!

Pros : It is only good looking

Cons : Poor after sale service, no easy availability of spare parts and does not give a satisfactory mileage

Hi! This is Ram from Chennai and I have purchased the Fiat Linea Diesel Active last year. I am so highly disappointed with the car’s performance and after sale services that I wanted to share my experience here so that it can help people who are planning to buy the same car. No doubt the car has got a stunning look which is a big reason for the buyers to get driven away. I was also very impressed by the great looks of the car. Besides I was also assured that Fiat being one of the oldest car companies in the Indian market would prove to be a reliable one.

After a few days of the purchase the car was pretty good in performance and all my friends and relatives envied me for the luxurious looking car and the elegantly built interiors. I was also of the view that as Fiat is re-entering the Indian market it would make no compromises with the car’s features to maintain its standards. But to my utter disappointment, only four months after I purchased the car the Air conditioner stopped working properly. It works just pathetic and in the hot climate of Rajasthan it is next to useless. Also when I met with an accident a few days back I took the car to the service centre but it only added up to my disappointment that the spare parts of the car were not available and you won’t believe but I had to wait for 2 months or so to get my car repaired.

Moreover, the only reason why I switched over from my old car to this one because it was a petrol variant and the increasing petrol prices made me feel having a diesel car would be more economical. But nothing expected happened. The mileage given by the car is very poor and is not at all fuel efficient. I just feel that the car has everything just to be shown but nothing works properly. It displays the luxurious look only by outside and is a very poor car otherwise. I feel betrayed after purchasing FIAT LINEA DIESEL ACTIVE and would only advice all you people to give it a second thought if you are planning to buy one.
