Mahindra thar is really a classical jeep. It has brought looks back from the oldies, quite nostalgic. Thar is really powerful and even its features; it has got a rough and tough body which can easily bear loads. Because of its astonishing features it has come as a strong competitor among the car industry and even in its own family. Thar has an open roof top which is a troubling feature according to environment but gives cool and adventurous looks. Thar is sporty but lacks safety features. The exteriors have masculine looks. It also gives a nostalgic resemblance of cars of older decade that were rough and tough. The car has open roof and has 3 door openings which are very strong indeed. Thar has great dimensions that are really dynamic. The front view is jaw shaped. The broad tyres are tubeless and very strong. The grills are vertically aligned around the classic headlights. Thar has bucket seats with upholstery and also the Spartan in the visual and functional departments. The front suspension is independent with torsion and stabilizer bar and rear suspension is semi elliptical leaf spring.

 

 

Interiors

 

The interiors are sober and strong. The interiors lack AC, music system and ABS. The steering is rack and pinion with power assistance type. Thar can accommodate 7 people but with difficulty. Thar has enough leg room, arm room, power window, power steering, power doors locks. The leather seats are of raw style and not the luxurious ones that can bear jerks and shocks effectively. The roof is open but can be shaded by tough cloth sheet. The security features are the matter of worry because of the open roof.

 

 

Engine

 

The Engine is powerful and super responsive with greater speeds but the most irritating aspect is the engine noise that is unbearable and hampers peace to the ears.

The performance of the jeep is really excellent because of its powerful engine. The broad tyres help in driving over the rough terrains easily. The power steering and effective gear system helps in handling the robust giant properly. The powerful body can easily bear heavy loads. The maintenance cost is low.
