Maruti Swift cars in India are not affected in India with the latest petrol leakage incidents in other countries. The official of the company has also assured that there is no need to panic as Maruti Swift cars in India are safe. The petrol leakage fault that might happen due to defect in rubber fuel filler hose has been reported from a few European countries, Japan and Mexico. These recalled cars had been manufactured from September 2010 to April 2012. Along with this report, Maruti has also confirmed the price hike in Maruti Swift Dzire diesel models in India.

Thanks Maruti India! My car is not affected by this problem and I am driving it as ever. However, I would go the service center and get it checked for any unexpected issue that may arise anytime.
