A continuous series of makeovers and improvements has finally resulted into an adept and marvelous piece of engineering and has made Wagon R a car of choice and a best value for money. It’s a product which records highest sales figure in its segment. Wagon R is been an integral part of our small car segment for over a decade now and still it gives the same refreshing feel. I took test drive yesterday to figure out the latest additions and offering and am very satisfied with the overall test experience.

Exteriors have been improved with beautiful looking headlamps and equally adoring backlights. Now tinny boxy shape has been molded well and changed into a curvy elegant shape. Tyres are broad than the previous versions and suspension was good before and is been improved further as per the requirements. Vehicle is decently priced and low running and maintenance cost is always been a characteristic feature of Maruti vehicles.

Engine is decently powered with 998cc displacement which generates 68 PS of power at 6200 rpm of torque. A/c is good.  Power steering is very soft and responsive. Gear shift is very smooth like moving dagger in butter. It’s a perfect city ride and occupies very less space for parking and an equally efficient highway cruise. Its handling at speeds of 100 or 110 is phenomenal and car takes sharp turns very easily. Interiors are spacious but car is made for comfortable seating of four people. Boot space provided is small too.

Overall Wagon R is a perfect small family wagon with loads of features for safe and comfortable driving experience.
