2012 Honda City expected to reach showrooms by November 2011
One of the bestselling and booming sedans in the Indian auto market with a premium touch is the Honda City. The sedan is been ruling the elite class of auto sector since long and despite increase in petrol prices it has maintained its charisma. But the car is been facing some stiff competition from sometime now in terms of sales against the new entrants in its segment. One of the chief reasons for this setback has been the absence of diesel engine; the Japanese auto giant has no diesel powered vehicle in its stable.

Now to reclaim its title on the top-spot Honda has intended to launch its face-lifted all-new 2012 Honda City by amid November this year. Earlier in September 2011, the company had launched its new sedan in Thailand.

Honda Motors; known as Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) in the country, will introduce the 2012 sedan after the festive season which may not offer a reason to smile for the company, but the car buyers will not walk heartbreaking as on this occasion the Honda dealers are offering discount as huge as INR 1 Lakh. This will help HSCI clear the stock and make way for the new 2012 Honda City sedan.

The front grille gets restructured for the 2012 Honda City with all black air-dam that grants it a sporty appearance. The door handles now dressed up in chrome along with the turn indicators which sat besides headlamps in the older edition have now climbed up to Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs).

In the new face-lifted 2012 vehicle, one will find tail-light at the rear as the most impressive element with usual multi-focal reflectors in a fresh set-up; the side and reverse indicators are now transparent along with its new rear body colored bumpers that senses European appearance.
HSCI sells Honda Civic, Honda Captiva and all new renovated Honda Jazz along with new launched small car Honda Brio.
