2013 Hyundai Santa Fe pictures leaked ahead of NY Auto Show

The Interior pictures of the new generation 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, the much awaited luxury sports utility vehicle in the global market, was recently leaked ahead of its unveiling ceremony at the new York Auto Show next week. The new Hyundai Santa Fe facelift images are seem to be taken when a promotional video of the SUV was in the making.

Now coming to the major changes inside the new Santa Fe as compared to the previous generation version, the 2013 Santa Fe interior upgrade carries an impression of the new generation Hyundai Sonata sedan. The new interior theme is incorporated with new color theme of light and beige and dark brown color in combination with a greater use of chrome inserts. The blue backlit meters which have been trademark of Hyundai brand car come in combination with a twin-pod instrument cluster.

The new stylish steering wheel of the car is loaded with as many as 15 buttons including the switches for volume control, cruise control, etc. The stylish 3 spoke steering wheel replaces the 4 spoke steering wheel of the earlier generation models.

At present, the Hyundai Santa Fe SUV is available with a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 22.50 lakh in the Indian market and is competing with the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Renault Koleos, Ford Endeavour, Chevrolet Captiva, Mitsubishi Pajero, etc. The vehicle is available in three variants in the Indian market including a 2- wheel drive (2WD) manual transmission, 4- wheel drive (4wd) manual transmission and 4 -wheel drive automatic transmission.

The all new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe will be launched in India soon after its introduction in the global market, expected by this year end. The SUV will come powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine in the Indian market, which will be outpouring a peak power of 225 bhp along with a peak torque of 500 Nm.
