2016 Toyota Fortuner rendered at GIIAS 2016
Slated for launch sometimes during the upcoming festive season in Indian car market, Japanese car maker Toyota has showcased the 2016 Fortuner during the ongoing GIIAS 2016 in Indonesia. In Indonesian car market the generation next Fortuner is offered in both petrol and diesel disguises which would be empowered with 2.7 litre Dual VVTi and 2.4 litre 2GD FTV engines respectively. The former engine configuration generates the power of 163 PS followed by torque of 242 Nm and mated with six speed automatic transmission system as standard feature in all trims. Whereas the later engine generates the power of 149.6 PS and torque of 400Nm, the base trim “G” in diesel variant is mated with six speed manual transmission system along with option of six speed automatic transmission and all wheel driving system.

The common features offered in all trims of next generation Fortuner are tilt and telescoping steering wheel with steering mounted controls, 17 inch alloy wheels, reverse camera, Multi-Information Display (MID), rear spoiler, projector halogen headlamps, and three driving modes namely Eco, Normal & Power.
