2017 Honda City Facelift Launched in India at INR 8.49 Lac

Finally, Honda India launched the 2017 all new City facelift for the start price of INR 8.49 Lac ex-showroom. This mid-size sedan has more sporty looks, high tech exteriors and improved safety features to rule on the hearts of Indian buyers. To increase in the sales and offer best customer service, Honda increasing the number of outlets that will help in achieving new milestones in this fiscal year. With launch of the City facelift, Honda put a tough competition in front of the already available Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and other cars in the premium sedan segment.

The new City sedan available in both diesel and petrol trims and comes in five variants named as S, SV, V VX and ZX. The Honda City diesel runs on a 1.5-litre i-DTEC 4-cylinder mill, supplying power of 99 bhp and peak torque of 200 Nm. It is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission system that is capable to deliver mileage of 25.6 km/l (ARAI-certified). On the other hand, City petrol runs on a 1.5-litre i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine, generating 118 bhp of power and 145 Nm torque. The car equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox that supply fuel efficiency of 17.4 km/l. Also, the company launches petrol variants with an option of CVT transmission to make the drive easy and the car more fuel efficient with mileage of 18 km/l (ARAI).

Externally, re-engineered LED headlamps with daytime running lights, LED fog lamps, new designed front chrome grille joining the headlamps, electric sunroof with one touch open/close, 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, boot-lid mounted new LED rear spoiler, LED tail lamps and many others that making the #NewCity2017 classy and impressive. Inside the cabin, all new Honda City furbished with a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with navigation system with smartphone connectivity, voice recognition system, leather seats, enhanced music system that are quite enough to offer the comfortable journey.

In terms of safety, the new Honda City comes with front dual airbags, ISOFIX child seat safety mounts (standard feature), ABS with EBD, cruise control while the top-end models offered with 6 airbag safety features, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps and many others.
