2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA Facelift to Launch on November 30, 2016

After showcasing facelift version of CLA during New York International Auto Show 2016, German car maker Mercedes-Benz has confirmed its launching date in Indian car market on November 30, 2016. According to company sources the facelift CLA will be assembled locally at company’s production facility in Chakan and will be the last launch by car maker for this year. The 2017 Mercedes-Benz Facelift undergoes sophisticated changes which are helpful in redefining its looks to certain extent continuing its glittering style.

Mechanically the refreshed CLA from Mercedes-Benz continues to be offered with same exiting engine configurations of 2.0 litre petrol engine that is capable of boosting 181 bhp and torque of 300 Nm and diesel variant comprising of 2.1 litre four cylinder engine churning the power of 134 bhp and torque of 300N. Power to wheels in both trims is sent through seven speed automatic gearbox. On the exterior front the luxurious flamboyant sedan receives set of newly designed headlamps with LED lights. New front bumper with customized with enlarged air intakes followed by diamond grille as standard feature. The rear portion of CLA 2017 also receives a tweaked bumper and five spoke alloy wheels replacing the existing multi-spoke wheels. Moving inside the cabin you will find refreshed instrument cluster developed with red color stitching, newly introduced upholstery, followed by a notable change in form of eight inch infotainment system equipped with Apple CarPlay along with company’s conventional COMMAN system. As far as other features and ex-showroom price is concerned nothing has been so far revealed by car maker and will be disclosed at the time of its launch. After launch in Indian car market the 2017 Mercedes-Benz will compete against Toyota Camry, Audi A3 and Skoda Superb.
