Mercedes-Benz Launches Facelift CLA Class in India
German luxurious car maker Mercedes-Benz has launched the facelift version of its CLA class sedan in Indian car market with subtle changes, priced Rs. 31.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). It is launched in both petrol and diesel variants with petrol variant christened as CLA200 and empowered with 2.0 litre turbocharged four cylinder engine that churns the power of 181 bhp and torque of 300Nm. The diesel variant is named as CLA 200d and sports the 2.2 litre turbocharged four cylinder engine that boosts the power of 134 bhp and torque of 300Nm. Both the engines are mated with seven speed gearbox. The car maker has introduced the refreshed CLA Class to compete against Audi A3 and BMW 1 Series.

Talking about the cosmetic updates on the exterior front, the new CLA Class adorns newly developed LED headlmaps, with new set of minutely updated DRLs, revised front and rear bumpers, of-course different from the variant running in international market. Moving towards the rear portion you will find a chrome plate running across the bumper adjoining both the tail lamps. The side-profile however remains unchanged continuing the 17 inch alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin you will find new eight inch touchscreen replacing the existing seven inch screen. The newly introduced screen is quite thin and looks even better than its older version. Similarly, the infotainment system also received an update in from Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard feature followed by inbuilt smartphone integration with Bluetooth. The infotainment system also supports connectivity with GPS navigation system and receives refreshed instrument cluster along with bunch of sportier red needles.
The refreshed CLA Class sedan seems to be the last offering by German car maker in Indian car market for the year 2016.
