After India Toyota Etios Cross launched in South Africa
Japanese car maker Toyota Motors after successful launch of Etios Cross in Indian car market has launched the same in African car market with price tag of 159,800 Rand (about INR 8.99 lakh). Alike Indian car market Etios Cross will explore the brigade of Etios hatchback and Etios Live to next level in African car market. Although the body language of Etios Cross launched in South Africa carries the same tone as offered in Indian car market, the difference lies only engine configuration.
In Indian car market Etios Cross has been launched with three engine options of 1.2 litre petrol, 1.4 litre petrol and 1.4 litre diesel engine. Whereas in South African car market it has been offered with only 1.5 litre petrol engine churning the power of 89bhp and torque of 132Nm. The engine is coated with five speed manual gearbox system.
The major attractions of exteriors offered in exteriors of Etios Cross are newly developed bumper both front and rear, roof-rails and plastic cladding on the side, Inside the cabin it receives black theme followed by piano black colored central console. The seats receive the badge of Cross marked on them. Apart from this the top end variant of Etios Cross receives dual air bags, whereas ABS+EBD are offered as standard interior features.
