Audi Q5, A6, A7 and A8 unwrapped with new diesel engine
The 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show has geared up even more as Audi revealed its cars with the new diesel engine (3.0 litre V6). This engine was unveiled in Audi A7 in September 2012. What is interesting here is that this new diesel engine will be powering all new Audi A8, Audi A7, Audi A6 and Audi Q5. All these models by Audi will come installed with the new 3.0 litre TDI V6 diesel engine. Out of these, Audi A8 will be launching with the new diesel engine by spring 2013.

If looking at the current diesel cars of Audi in the US car market, it only has Audi A3 and Audi Q7 SUV. It was pretty obvious for Audi to come up with more diesel options as they are way more fuel efficient as compared to the petrol engines. According to the statistics, diesel engines are 30% more fuel –efficient than petrol engines. This is the main reason why globally every car consumer wishes to opt for a diesel car.

Apparently, Audi TDi engines have helped the consumers to bank-away more than 4 million gallons of fuel since the time diesel engine were introduced in USA that is in 2009. And the new 3.0 litre V6 TDI engine is expected to be even more fuel efficient and a better performer. The engine will be churning out peak power output of 240HP and maximum torque of 406lb/ft. Furthermore; it will take the car from 0-60 mph in merely 6.4 seconds along with delivering a very impressive mileage of 10.20kmpl on the city roads and about 15.31 kmpl on the highways.
On the whole, there are very high expectations from Audi’s new diesel engine and hopefully, the figures here stay as it is on the road as well.

Very good choice has been offered by Audi to its cars. Right now most of luxury car lovers are moving for diesel engine having luxury models and Audi will be capable to lure them.
