Audi ready with 4 diesel models
It’s going to be a fun year for Audi! Audi fans embrace yourself as we are about to disclose something really exciting. The luxurious car manufacturer has confirmed that it will bring in fuel efficient diesel engine at the L.A. Auto Show. These are not yet been made available in the US market. Apparently, Audi will bless Audi A8 sedan, the mid-sized sedan Audi A6, the four-door coupe Audi A7, and the lavish crossover SUV Audi Q5 with a very fuel-efficient and new 3 litre turbocharged V-6 diesel engine.

The precise details of the engine have been revealed for Audi A8 only. This sedan will come with the new 3 litre of turbocharged V-6 diesel engine that would produce 240HP of power along with 406 pound-feet of crest torque. This one is enough to make the car catch-up 60kmph speed mark in merely 6.4 seconds. Impressive isn’t it? Also, Audi has unveiled the fuel efficiency of the car. The car is likely to give out a smooth mileage of 24 miles per gallon on the city roads, while 36 miles per gallon fuel efficiency will be delivered on the highways. The car maker will put up Audi A8 with 3.0 Litre V-6 engine on sale in the Spring of next year. All the other models mentioned above will be launched during the fall of 2013.

This new engine has already been updated in 2013 Audi Q7 TDi, which is a seven-seater crossover. This engine has taken the mileage figures to the sky. Now the car will deliver 19-28mpg fuel efficiency without any trouble.
The official unveiling of these models will be done at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which is scheduled to start from 30th November to 9th December for the public. And as for media, 28th and 29th November has been reserved.
