Audi S6 to hit Indian roads next month
Audi India, which has achieved the position of numero uno luxury carmaker in Indian domestic luxury car market with sales figures of 770 units in April 2013, is now going to lure the high-end luxury saloon lovers of the country. The company has recently indicated about the launch of much anticipated luxury saloon, Audi S6 in India by next month. The new S6 is based on the platform of flagship sporty sedan Audi A6 which has got much popularity at global stage.

Recently, the company has also launched the Audi R8 V10 Plus in April followed by the special edition of Audi A6 sporty sedan. And now, the new Audi S6 launch in India is reported to be triggered in June this year. It will come loaded with a 4.0 litre V8 TFSI petrol motor which belts out peak power of 414 hp and massive torque of 450 Nm. The power motor is mated with a 7-speed S tronic transmission system. In terms of performance the new S6 luxury sedan will be tremendous, as it can achieve the speed of 0-100 in just 4.6 seconds while the top speed of the vehicle is 250 kmph.

The new Audi S6 features prove it very similar to the A7 sedan as it comes equipped with Audi‘s AWD system, multi speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, Quattro, textured leather seats, Audi’s MMI multimedia interface, Head-up display, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert and many more. In Indian auto market the new S6 saloon will compete with BMW 5 Series and Mercedes Benz E Class.
