Audi S6 to hit Indian shores on July 12
Audi India which has now become the number one luxury car maker in domestic market, is ready to surprise the Indian customers again. The company is going to launch the much anticipated sporty luxury car Audi S6 in Indian domestic market very soon. The German carmaker has recently teased the much awaited S6 pictures on its official website. And now, the beast is expected to be launched on 12th July 2012. Recently, Audi India has launched the 2013 Audi RS5 sports coupe for Rs 96.81 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

India launching Audi S6 sportscar will offer tremendous power and impressive efficiency. It will be loaded with a 4.0 litre V8 TFSI petrol engine that makes peak power of 420 bhp and top torque of 550 Nm. The beast is capable to catch the speed of 0-100kph in just 4.8 seconds. Fuel efficiency of the V8 petrol engine is based on the “Cylinder On Demand” technology that would offer impressive mileage in its category.

Audi S6 is an all-wheel drive supersports car and power of the engine will go to wheels via a 7-speed S Tronic DSG transmission. To provide better safety on high speed it will be equipped with carbon ceramic disc brakes and a sport differential system. It will have aluminium tipped single-frame grille and chromed horizontal double bars. To give it eye-catchy and sporty look mirrors have been equipped with aluminum while the side sills have been designed distinctively. The Indian version of the S6 sedan will have rear diffuser in platinum gray, trunk spoiler, chrome plated exhaust etc.
