Audi to launch new A4 and TT by this month end, S6 and Q3 to be launched by mid 2012

Audi, the German auto-giant is looking forward to enhance its line up in India. Close sources have revealed that the auto-grand would introduce three new cars and revamped Audi A4 by mid of 2012. Moreover, the car maker is now initiating for production expansion at its Aurangabad facility in order to manufacture two new vehicles. Michael Perschke, Director, Audi India stated that they will decide models for the Indian sub-continent on the basis practicality. He added that they would introduce Audi TT by this month end and would bring in Audi Q3 and Audi S6, by this year end.

Across the globe, Audi is objecting to 18 fresh models that include A1 Sportback and Audi A3. Perschke further added that they are planning to add a new line at Audi’s Aurangabad facility, by this year end which will have capacity to produce two new products. Recently, at the Auto Expo Delhi, the company unveiled its compact crossover, Audi Q3 which it expects to stabilize the car maker in the compact SUV segment. This small SUV product from car maker is speculated to give a stiff competition to BMW X1, another luxury compact SUV available in India.

Audi also unveiled the S6 sports sedan which is expected to land on the domestic shores by this festive season. The S6 will carry 4.0 liter, twin-turbo V8 engine that will enable it to produce great power with lesser fuel consumption.

Audi has progressed consistently, since it has stepped in the auto-market and now it stands as one of the most entrusted luxury car brand. Moreover, Audi is planning to bring in the new TT coupe by this year end. Audi TT is available in the global market in Coupe and Roadster variants, however, considering the Indian market, the auto-maker is planning to introduce the TT Coupe.
