Bangkok International Motor Show 2014: Honda Motors Showcases Honda City 2014 for Thai car market
After successfully launching the new Honda City 2014 in Indian car market Japanese auto giant has showcased the same Honda City in the ongoing Bangkok International Motor Show 2014. The avatar of Honda City showcase during the show is same as launched in Indian car market. The Honda City 2014 for Thai car market is blessed with 1.5 litre four cylinder petrol engine churning the power of 117 PS at 6,000 rpm and torque of 146 Nm at 4,700 rpm. The engine is coated with five speed manual transmission system and also offered with CVT automatic gearbox. The length of Honda City is same as offered in Indian car market.
As far as features offered in Honda City 2014 for Thai car market it carries some additional features which are not offered in model existing in Indian car market. The version of Honda City in Thai market receives 6 air bags, (side and curtain airbags along with front driver and passenger side bags) hill start assist, 7 inch touchscreen system, vehicle stability assistant system and voice activated controls.
The price of Honda City 2014 in Thai car market will start from 550,000 THN (INR 10.24 lakh ) to 749,000 THB (INR 13.06 lakh).
