BMW 7 Series facelift rolled out in Malaysia, India launch nearer
BMW rolled out the BMW 7 Series Facelift in Malaysia with a price tag of whopping Rs. 1.13 crore to Rs. 1.64 crore. The price tag is undoubtedly high and soaring, but the car does justice to the cost. The car has been launched in 3 variants, namely 730Li, 740Li and ActiveHybrid 7L. All three models are top notch and promise to deliver some high class performance on road. BMW has made many cosmetic changes in the car, which makes it furthermore alluring and attractive. On the outside, the refurbished LED headlamps, fresh kidney grille, redesigned bumper and stylish new indicators. The tail lights now have chrome finish and ground clearance has become 8mm lower than the ongoing model. On the inside, the interiors have been refurbished keeping in mind the lavish and plush image of the car. The seat designing is done with intelligence along with iDriver hardware installed and individual screens for the rear seat occupants.

The base variant, BMW 7 Series 730Li comes with a 3.0-Litre inline 6 engine, which is capable of churning out 258HP of power and 310Nm of torque. The 740Li sports the same 3.0-Litre engine but with twinPower Turbo Technology that helps the engine to produce maximum power of 320HP and 450Nm of maximum torque. The top end variant, ActiveHybrid 7L is strong enough to produce 354HP of peak power and generate 500Nm of torque. However, the Malaysian market didn’t saw the launch of the diesel variant of BMW 7 Series facelift. This could mean that it might arrive in India.
But right now, the firm hasn’t revealed any plans about the launch of BMW 7 Series facelift, but the firm not launching the diesel variant in Malaysia has given us the hope that it might come over to India car bazaar.
