BMW to unleash more capable sports car in 2015

Sports car lovers will have to wait till 2015 to see next generation BMW Z4, which would be sportier than ever before. The new BMW Z4 will have improved engine performance and better handling that would give more sporty ride. The German luxury and sportscar manufacturer BMW would make the BMW Z4 more dynamic to take on its rival, Porsche Boxster. The long time rival of BMW Z4, Porsche Boxster is all the rage in the same car category to which the BMW Z4 belongs. Now, to give stiff competition to its rival, the BMW Z4 engineers have a task to retain the look that it carries over the next 15 years with focus on handling as rival Porsche Boxster has improved handling.

The BMW is aiming to improve its handling by improving the weight distribution. Sources said that recently the makers replaced heavy engine with lighter one but with the same power and improved efficiency. It was a 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine car earlier but last year the company gave an engine with four cylinders, which was smaller and lighter. The engine produces maximum power of 340 Bhp and 450Nm of torque, both combined to give the car a chance to perform superbly.

Also the company may shorten the length of hood but in such a way that the traditional look of the car will not be affected, which would also improve handling. Since, the new engine is smaller and lighter it requires less space. For the purpose, the hood would be trimmed in such a way that it would not affect its clientele as they like long hood. The maker of the car may shorten the length of the car but by not much, sources said. Auto industry sources said that the maker of BMW Z4, would not change the design of the 2 seater BMW Z4 significantly so that it would not lose its recognizability. Source said that the maker of the car has not given it a name yet.

The company is also reported to come up with more X series cars in near future that will directly compete with the likes of Lamborghini Urus, Bently SUV cars and Rang Rover. The new cars from BMW stable will be BMW X4, BMW X7 and BMW X8.
