Book Audi A4 now and test drive it at Buddh International circuit
Audi launched the face-lifted A4 sedan yesterday only in the Indian car souk at a starting price of Rs 27. 33 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). Bookings for the mesmerizing beauty are open and you can also test drive the new A4 sedan at the Buddh International Circuit, the famous motor international circuit located in Greater Noida.

Audi’s upgraded A4 luxury saloon is offered in three engine options, 1.8 litre petrol TFSI engine, 2-litre diesel TDI engine and the 3-litre TDI diesel mill. The petrol version is priced at Rs 27.33 lakh, while the other two diesel variants are tagged at Rs 29.38 lakh and Rs 38 lakh respectively.

The German auto maker has plans to increase the production capacity from the current 6,000 units per annum to 9,000 units per annum at its Aurangabad plant located in Maharashtra. The Aurangabad facility also manufactures cars for Skoda Auto India, since Skoda too is a part of parent company Volkswagen just like Audi. The company is also contemplating to set up a separate plant for the soon to be launched compact SUV Audi Q3 and Audi Q7, which the company plans to assemble locally.

Audi India’s sales in the domestic market in the first quarter has been outstanding and the company eyes to follow the upward trend in the sales in the coming time too. Audi which was until now rated as the third best luxury brand in India recently bagged the second spot by vanquishing Mercedes Benz India from its spot. Audi A4 is of the popular cars from the Audi’s clan and the company managed to sell 850 units of the saloon until April 2012.Audi India eyes to sell around 2,500-2,800 units of the upgraded Audi A4 annually. Audi A4 is a volume seller which was first launched in 1972, since then the company has sold around 10 million units of A4 globally.
