Bookings for Audi Q7 Initiated in India, Ready for Launch
Audi India, the Indian alliance of the German carmaker Audi, has started receiving the bookings for the premium SUVQ7 at the down payment of Rs 5 lakh. In its new avatar, the Audi Q7 will be powered with a new powerful 3.0-litre petrol engine. In the words of Mr Head Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head, Audi India, "After nine product launches in 2021, we are excited to step into the new year with another incredible offering - the legendary Audi Q7 for which we open bookings today.” He also added that "The Audi Q7 has always been loved by customers for its sheer magnanimous road presence and its versatile performance - on and off the road."
Engine and Power of the New Audi Q7: The 2022 Audi Q7 will receive the powertrain of a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine. The transmission duties will be performed by an eight-speed torque converter automatic system. This will be standard in all the trims. Along with this, all the trims will have Quattro all-wheel-drive system as a standard feature. The outgoing version had an adaptive air suspension system, it is not sure that whether the 2022 version will have the same or not.
Interior Features: On the interior front it will have the features like an MMI touch response system followed by two large-sized high-resolution touchscreens. This time to give the interior an extra premium look, the company has offered high-quality upholstery. However, the Indian version of Q7 will miss the flat-bottom steering wheel, that is offered in the international market. Besides, these features the new Q7 has a plethora of the latest features.
After launch in the Indian car market, the Audi Q7 will go against the likes of BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Volvo XC90.
