Bookings for India bound Honda Jazz begins in Malaysia
Japanese auto giant Honda Motors is all set to launch its highly awaited India bound hatchback Jazz in Malaysian car market and has started its booking. The new Honda Jazz looks contemporary and continues very minute resembles from its outgoing avatar. In-fact the new Jazz looks more aggressive and dynamic as its sibling City and Vezel. The version of Jazz to be launched in Malaysia has been offered with 1.5 litre SOHC i-VTEC engine producing the power of 120PS at 6,600 rpm and torque of 145 Nm at 4,600 rpm. The engine is coated with CVT gearbox.
It is reported that there would three variants of Jazz in Malaysian car market namely 1.5S, 1.5E and 1.5 E with all variants carrying same engine configuration but vary in price depending upon features and comforts offered in them. The price of base variant 1.5 S in Malaysian currency is RM 72,800 (INR 13.71 lakh), 1.5 E priced RM 79,800 (INR 15.03 lakh) and top end variant 1.5 V would be RM 87,800 (INR 16.54 lakh).
The major features offered in version of Honda Jazz includes six airbags, VSA stability control, reclining rear seats, hill stop assist, emergency start/stop, touchscreen with HDML, SIRI Eye Free Mode for iPhone 4S, steering mounted control and many more. It is reported that it would be fuel efficient hatchback 17.81 kmpl.
