Camouflaged Mahindra 2020 Spotted During Test Drive
Spies have captured the images of Mahindra Thar 2020 ahead of its showcase during the Indian Auto Expo 2020. The images of variant captured by spies are believed to be the base variant, because this variant looks different from the variant that has been spotted earlier by the spies. The recently spotted Thar varies in terms of alloy wheels, LED tail lamps and hard-top. The 2020 Thar will be energized with BS-VI compliant engine followed by a heavy-duty four-wheel-drive system. The existing Thar is energized with a 2.5 liter diesel engine that is capable of generating the power of 105 bhp @3800 rpm and the torque of 274 Nm at rpm between 1800 and 2000.

Well, talking about the features that would be adorned in the new Thar, spies did not succeed in getting much of the clues due to heavy covers. But, still, they were able to recognize the presence of seven-plated front grille, muscular bumper, round headlamps and few more, which have captured in the early prototype of the vehicle being tested on road.
Inside the cabin, it is believed to receive the black treatment, but with a bunch of cosmetic updates in terms of the new steering wheel, new buttons for air conditioner. It is also believed that the interior might also include the touchscreen infotainment system. The list of other expected features include upgraded seats with side bolstering and upholstery for the driver and the front-seat passenger, the rear seats will be placed in the same manner as they are offered in the existing version, that is side fencing. It will also receive features like a new instrument cluster with MID, new gear lever and few more. As far as integration of the safety features are concerned the list will include rear parking sensors, ABS driver airbag, speed alert system and many more.
