Chevrolet Aveo car range now with huge discount

As most of you are aware, the Indian unit of the American auto giant General Motors has discontinued their much loved Chevrolet Aveo UVA model in the Indian market. However, the good news for U-VA lovers is that a few company dealers are still selling this car as a part of their old stock clearance initiative. Last month, General Motors India had replaced the Aveo U-VA model in their India portfolio with the launch of new compact hatchback Chevrolet Sail UV-A. As the hatchback version of Aveo series has already been discontinued, the entry-level sedan Chevrolet Aveo will soon be replaced with the launch of sedan version Chevrolet Sail.

The U-VA admirers still hold a chance to buy this car and that too on huge discounts. Launched in December 2006, the Aveo U-VA model was sold as a premium hatchback in the Indian market. The car is offered in only 1.2L petrol version and was known for its highly spacious interior. However, the U-VA model was sidelined with reduced acceptance among the Indian buyers following a sharp rise in the petrol prices. The Aveo U-VA model hosts huge space inside be it headroom, legroom or shoulder room or be it space for luggage. With a length of 3880 mm, width of 1670 mm and height of 1495 mm, the U-VA model is considered as the most comfortable hatchback in its segment.

One more factor that contributed in Aveo U-VA’s failure in the Indian market was the launch of new age Chevrolet Beat hatchbacks in year 2010. Since its launch in January 2010, the Chevrolet Beat has been the centre point of the company in the volume driven compact hatchback segment.So, you need to hurry-up if you still wish to buy this model, till last few units of this model are remaining with the Chevrolet dealers.
