Chevrolet Spin steps in Brazil, India entry expected

Chevrolet Tavera has been in the Indian MPV segment since a long time now. With the new ‘Spin’, the firm certainly looks like it is willing to add a ‘Spin’ to its portfolio very soon.

Everyone knows for a fact that Toyota Innova has been dominating the MPV segment of the Indian car bazaar since a long time now. And just by a look at its sales figures, it can be well made out that Spin will have to put in all its heart and soul to succeed in the market today. Chevrolet Spin also has a tough competition from Ertiga by Maruti Suzuki. The sales figures of Maruti Ertiga are rising with a good speed as well. Maruti Ertiga has been blessed with a very fuel efficient engine and spacious and roomy interiors along with compact and smart dimensions. All these things make it a perfect MUV in the market.

General Motors has done a lot of hard work in building Chevrolet Spin. The images of the car show that this MPV by GM would be totally fun and funky. The exteriors of the car have its traditional bowtie logo, while the split grille with headlights that could charm anyone steals the show. Under the bonnet, the car comes with 1.8 litre of Econo. Flex engine, which churns out 108HP of peak power when running on ethanol and 106HP of power, when running on gasoline. the MPV has two variants, the top trim comes with almost all possible comfort features such as ABS, EBD, dual airbags, air conditioning system with heater, height adjustable driver’s seat etc.
