Details of Volkswagen Polo facelift revealed

With launching date of Volkswagen Polo facelift getting closer with each passing day, more details about the new features offered in hatchback are coming out. Slated for launch on July 15, 2014 the new Volkswagen Polo will undergo both greasy and cosmetic changes. To begin with greasy changes the new Volkswagen Polo will be enriched with 1.5 litre diesel engine with two engine tunes generating the power of 89bhp and 103 bhp, and will replace the existing 1.2 litre diesel engine. As far as petrol variant is concerned it will continue the existing 1.2 litre petrol engine followed by 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol engine offered in GT TSI trim.

Talking about the facelift introduced on the exteriors it will be blessed with newly developed bumper followed by chrome strip placed on the air dam, the fog lamps, tail light, and double barell head lamps are the major attractions of cosmetic changes adorned on the exteriors. The company continues the front grille which is now enriched with single chrome strip at the beneath.

Moving inside the cabin the hatchback receives newly developed three spoke steering wheel with mounted controls, new instrument cluster, new dashboard. The instrument cluster now bestows multi infotainment system while the dashboard is now offered with two color schemes. Going through these changes it is speculated that the price of new Volkswagen could up about Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 than compared to outgoing model.
