Facelift Honda Jazz might be offered with RS variant
With three massive hits in Indian car market in form Amaze the compact sedan, City the luxurious sedan and now with Mobilio MPV, Japanese car maker Honda Motors has reason to fly on seventh sky of success and it seems that now the car maker do not wants to look behind. According to recent reports the car maker is determined to continue the track of success for the years to come in form of its forthcoming initiatives. Reports reveal that the car maker is going to bring its high performing RS variant in its next launch, which would be Jazz hatchback slated for launch earlier next year. Although company has not made any official announcement regarding it but sources close to production say that the car maker is seriously working on bringing the RS variant in Jazz apart from the standard version of hatchback.
This time despite of launching the hatchback in petrol version company will launch it in both petrol and diesel variant. The diesel variant of facelift Jazz would be empowered with 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine boosting the power of 99bhp and torque of 200 Nm, it is expected to deliver the fuel efficient performance of 26 kmpl. On the other side the petrol variant would be empowered with 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol engine. Industry experts believe that Jazz was one of the best vehicles offered by the company but due to its wrong pricing the hatchback did not succeed in enjoying the expected success. But this time the car maker do not wants any stone unturned and therefore it is making all sincere efforts to make the hatchback enjoy the success expected by it in its first avatar.
Apart from being offered in diesel version the new Jazz would also carry various cosmetic changes which are developed to lure the customers of next generation. The generation next Jazz is developed on company’s Exciting H Design Philosophy which are helpful in giving the hatchback more sportier look.
