Facelift Volkswagen Polo launching on July 15, 2014
With newly developed 1.5 litre diesel mill and new cosmetic features, the German car maker Volkswagen is all set to launch the facelift Polo on July 15, 2014 in Indian car market. Apart from this the new Polo is blessed with new awesome features which are offered keeping in requirements of next generation in concern. These features include new headlamp cluster, newly developed front grille, and many more.

Talking about the engine configurations, the Polo will continue the same three cylinder 1.2 litre petrol engine for petrol variants followed by four cylinder 1.2 TSI turbo charged petrol engine for GT TSI variants. The diesel variant as mentioned will carry the new 1.5 litre diesel engine replacing the existing 1.6 litre diesel engine. The newly introduced diesel engine has been developed according to government’s standards and therefore it is expected to be priced at affordable price tag.
It would be interested to know that the interiors of new Polo have been developed according to its European version which includes new steering wheel with mounted controls, newly developed dashboard along with silver slats. The interiors will also carry the newly developed infotainment system. After launch it is expected to compete with upcoming Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20, Fiat Punto and others.
