Fiat Linea sedan all set to debut in Sri Lanka: Fiat India

As an expansion measure Fiat India Automobiles Limited is ready to embark upon the journey overseas with sedan Fiat Linea all set for Sri Lanka launch. The sales in Sri Lanka will be managed by The Speed Italia dealership.

Fiat India Automobiles Limited is planning to touch a new high in the exports division along with an aim to multiply its network; and the dealership in the island country reflects their thoughts.

Fiat Linea will be launched on 29th September in Sri Lanka. The Fiat India is confident that Linea 1.4 emotion version will come up with flying colors in the auto market of Sri Lanka. The initial export lot consists of 72 Linea sedans out of which 50 are allotted to the Air Force officials of Sri Lanka which needs to be delivered on the occasion of opening ceremony of the launch event.

Rajeev Kapoor- Chief Executive Officer of Fiat India, addressed that the step to export sedan Linea to the nation situated in southern coast of the Indian subcontinent was taken to strengthen their stake in global market.

To improve its position in exports, Fiat India would also focus on the countries like Bhutan, Nepal and Australia in near future.

The Italian automobile manufacturer is pretty aggressive with its marketing strategies in Srilanka, with an aim to capture five percent share in the nation’s auto market in the initial year. Nearly twenty thousand cars are sold every year in Sri Lanka.

Fiat in India sells the hatchback Grande Punto, apart from sedan Linea.
