Fiat to mix coffee with cars: to open Fiat Caffe on January 6
Fiat India seems to have a big plan for India in 2012 as it is coming up with Fiat Caffe in all the major cities of India. To begin with, Fiat will be inaugurating Fiat Caffe brand store in New Delhi on January 6. This is believed to be the hub for auto enthusiasts and people and there be fun and frolic with some of the exquisite coffee and Italian dishes to be served here. Prior to the opening of Fiat Caffe, Ford will be launching the limited 2012 edition of sedan Fiat Linea and the hatch Fiat Punto on January 3. Besides these two Fiat cars in India, Fiat also plans to launch Fiat Bravo hatchback, introduce Fiat 500 for its second innings and Fiat Sedici SUV is also expected in India by year 2012 end. After this first Fiat Caffe at Janpath in New Delhi, the second Fiat Caffe will be inaugurated in Pune.

It is here that coffee and Italian delicacies will be mixed with the enthusiasm about cars and specially Fiat cars in India. Apart from this, those hanging out here will be able to know in detail about all the products of Fiat and the technology that drives Fiat. In all it will be a one stop store for all the products of Fiat. Basically though it will be a coffee house but with a different taste.

This is also seen a major move after the 50-50 joint venture between Fiat and Tata Motors since 2007. However, even after a 50 percent stake in Fiat, Tata has decided to maintain Fiat’s independent identity in the country and thus Fiat has independent showroom across the country.
