Ford Fiesta honored as the bestselling vehicle in UK
Ford Fiesta the luxurious sedan from the U.S. based car maker Ford Motors has been marked as the all time bestselling car in British car market. The sedan was for first time introduced to U.K market in 1976 and since then the car maker has succeeded in selling out 4,150,000 units of car in United Kingdome. It would be interested to know that in race of popularity the sedan defeated its sibling Escort by good margin.
In U.K car market the sedan has been launched with different engines option. The petrol version is empowered with 1.0 litre, 3 cylinder EcoBoost engine with 3 tunes of power, 1.25 litre, 4 cylinder engine with 2 tunes of power, the third version is empowered with 1.6 litre petrol engine boosting the power of 105 PS. The first version of petrol version that is 1.0 litre petrol engine churns the power of 80 PS while the other two engines generate the power of 60 PS and 80 PS.
In Indian car market the sedan is based on hatchback platform, although in Indian car market the car maker has launched the refreshed version which is similar to European version. Although unfortunately in Indian car market it has not been so successful as compared to U.K car market.
