Ford Motors to display future design with four new car models at Frankfurt Motor Show
The US based leading car maker Ford Motors will be displaying four new car models at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. The Show will be held from September 15th to 25th, where a large number of car makers will be displaying their varying range of existing and upcoming vehicles. The four new car models of Ford which will be displayed at the Show are expected to include a new model carrying ford next generation design characteristics.
While commenting on the company’s preparations for the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, Mr. Stephen Odell, Chairman and CEO at Ford Europe, said that the company is excited to be showing its customers Ford’s best ever vehicle line-up along with a special glimpse of the future.
Moreover, one more car model that is widely expected to be displayed at this show is an all new sports utility vehicle (SUV) based on Ford Fiesta sedan. This is the same model which is expected to be launched in the Indian market in year 2012.
In India, the company is aggressively planning to expand its vehicle portfolio. The US based car maker has planned-up to launch more than half a dozen vehicles in the Indian market in next few years. The current line-up of the company in the Indian market include compact hatchback Ford Figo, entry level sedan Ford Fiesta and Ikon, and luxury SUV Ford Endeavour.
Some of the popular hatchback models in the Indian auto market are Chevrolet Beat Diesel, Toyota Etios Liva, Ford Figo, Maruti Swift, Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Beat and Volkswagen Polo. Apart from these popular models, cars going to hit the Indian roads this year are Force One, Nissan Sunny, Maruti Cervo and Honda Brio.
