Ford To Launch Generation Next Endeavour In 2019
According to recent reports Ford India, the Indian alliance of U.S based car maker Ford Motors is speculating the facelift version of its best selling SUV Endeavour (sold as Everest in the International Market) sometimes during the early month of next year. The SUV has been caught testing in Australia and Thailand and is expect to make its International Debut during the mid of this year.
On the basis of information received from authentic sources the facelift Endeavour will under minute cosmetic updates on the exterior and interior fronts. On the exterior front it will receive updated radiator grille, and revamped fog lamps at the front bumper followed by silver garnish at the beneath of front bumper and also six spoke alloy wheels. Inside the cabin it will not undergo any vast changes but of-course contemporary changes in form of keyless entry and push-button start.
As far as changes under bonnet are concerned in the International market it is reported to be offered with 2.0 litre diesel engine, that was earlier offered in the Ranger pick by the car maker. The transmission duties would be performed by ten speed automatic transmission system. The SUV will be offered with power generation option of 180 hp and 420Nm torque and other with 213 bhp and torque of 500 Nm. It is believed in the Indian car market the SUV will be offered with existing configuration of two engine options including 2.2 litre diesel engine boosting the power of 160 hp and the torque of 385 Nm and 3.2 litre diesel engine churning the power of 200 hp and the torque of 470Nm. It will however be offered with the sticker of BS-VI emission standards that would be active from 2020.
The facelift Endeavour is expected to compete with Toyota Fortuner and upcoming faelift version of SsangYong Rexton from Mahindra.
