Ford unveils Everest Aka Endeavour for Asian continent
U.S. based car maker Ford has unveiled its SUV Everest aka Endeavour for Asian Pacific market. Company has continued the same existing platform Ford Ranger platform on which the current Everest is build in but has offered various comprehensive cosmetic surgeries to SUV. It will continue two diesel engine options of 2.2 litre four cylinder diesel engine boosting the power of 160 HP and 3.2 litre five cylinder diesel engine generating the power of 200 HP. Engines would be mated with six speed torque converter automatic transmission system along with six speed manual transmission system with option of rear wheel and all wheel drive.
The most impressive feature that has been enhanced in new Everest or Endeavour is introduction of newly introduced Terrain Management System that offers comfort travelling experience to the passengers on terrain roads. For this the system has been adjusted with different setting options of Normal/grass/gravel/snow/sand and rock.
Other features offered comfort and relaxed seating offer to seven passengers, automatic parallel park assist system, 10 speaker audio system, Ford’s Sync 2 infotainment system and safety features like cross traffic alert, traction control, curve control, stability control system, and blind spot monitoring system offering complete security to passengers during travel.
