Generation next Ford Figo to launch on September 23, 2015
Couple of months back U.S based car maker Ford Motors had successfully launch the sedan version of its Figo hatchback in Indian car market named as Ford Figo Aspire. Now the car maker is all set to bring the refreshed version of Figo hatchback in India on September 23, 2015. According to reports the refreshed hatchback carriesg most of its cues from compact sedan Aspire sporting enlarged four plated chrome grille which adorns sweptback headlamps. If seen at first instance the front fascia almost looks like Aspire.
The proposed hatchback would be launched in both petrol and diesel variants and engine configurations would be same as offered in Aspire. The petrol trim would be energized with 1.2 litre petrol engine boosting the power of 70 PS and torque of 102 NM, while the diesel will be empowered with 1.5 litre diesel engine that will churn the power of 90 PS and torque of 2014 Nm. Engines of both these trims would be mated with five speed manual gear transmission system.
As far as price is concerned going through the existing condition in Indian car market it is expected to be priced at very competitive price starting from Rs. 4 lakh onwards. Industry experts believe that the generation next Figo would be embellished with fleet of remarkable and contemporary features and will compete against Tata Bolt and Maruti Suzuki Swift.
