Honda Amaze vs Maruti Swift Dzire

The Indo-Japanese venture Maruti Suzuki India must have never dreamt that one fine day a premium carmaker like Honda will needle them and lock horns in their very-own playground i.e. mass segment. Heard about Honda Amaze sedan? Yes. This is the second time Honda takes a dig at passenger car supremo, as it triggers a war against volume-seller Maruti Swift Dzire sedan with the launch of Honda Amaze sedan in petrol and diesel avatars early 2013.       

It all happened last year, when bubbly Honda Brio hatch was launched to torment Maruti Swift hatchback. And it was taken with both hands by ‘loyal’ petrol-car freaks in the country, as it proffered exceptional features inside-out, and needless to say, ultra-refined at a mind-boggling price. All this, and lot more is expected out of Honda Amaze sedan when it hits production floors late this year. Although not much of details are out by now, but still there are some worthy ones. So let’s have a quick assessment on how Maruti Swift Dzire will tackle the chaos thrown by Honda Amaze; as it’s all-set for grand launch in Thailand.
