Honda Starts The Bookings Of Facelift Amaze, Launch In August
The Japanese carmaker Honda has started receiving the bookings of facelift Amaze through the selected dealerships across the country. The facelift Amaze is likely to be launched in August 2021. The buyers willing to buy the new Amaze can book it by paying the down payment of Rs 5,000. It is the midlife update introduced in the Amaze.

The company had unveiled the second generation of Amaze during the Indian Auto Expo 2018 started its deliveries immediately after its launch in the same year. The second generation of Amaze is based on the second generation of Brio, that is not launched in the Indian car market. As far as the changes introduced in the facelift Amaze are concerned, nothing has been so far revealed by the company. It is believed, that these changes would be restricted up to new LED headlamps, new alloy wheels, refreshed grille and bumper, followed by some changes on the rear portion. It is speculated that the company might also offer a new colour scheme.
Inside the cabin, it will receive the updated upholstery, a new touchscreen infotainment system, electronic sunroof, updated dashboard layout, and a few more. It is also believed, that the company may introduce some additional features of a luxurious sedan in Amaze to allure the buyers.
Under the hood, it will continue the existing engine options in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant will be equipped with a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine generating a power of 89 bhp and a torque of 10Nm. The transmission options will include a five-speed manual and a CVT transmission system. The diesel variant will receive the power from a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor boosting the power of 99 bhp and a torque of 200Nm. The transmission duties will include the same options as offered in the petrol variant. It would be interesting to know that it is the only compact sedan in the segment that offers a CVT transmission system in the diesel variant. The diesel variant with a CVT transmission system generates the power of 79 bhp and the torque of 160Nm.
