Honda BR-V earn 9000+ bookings in a month
The Indian alliance of Japanese car maker Honda has received an encouraging response from Indian car enthusiasts for it’s recently launched compact SUV, Honda BR-V by earning more than 9000 bookings in a month. According to company reports, SUV has registered equal no. of bookings for both petrol and diesel variants.
Speaking about the car, Mr. Raman Kumar Sharma, Senior Vice President and Director, HCIL, said, “The new Honda BR-V is an extremely important product for Honda. We are extremely delighted with the response for BR-V. The product has been well received due to its strong offering of overall package. Honda BR-V will contribute significantly to HCIL’s growth in this year.”
Under the hood, Honda BR-V is available in both petrol and diesel variant. The petrol variant is powered by 4-Cylinder 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine delivering power of 119 PS and maximum torque of 145 Nm equipped with six speed manual transmission and CVT option, on the other hand diesel variant is powered by 1.5 L i-DTEC engine boosting the power of 100 PS and peak torque of 200 Nm mated to six speed manual transmission.
The seven-seater is available in four grades namely E, S, V and VX with the optional CVT variant in petrol V trim in six exciting colours namely Carnelian Red Pearl, Alabaster Silver Metallic, White Orchid Pearl, Golden brown Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Urban Titanium Metallic and Taffeta White. In terms of safety BR-V comes equipped with Front Dual SRS airbags as Standard offering in all grades along with EBD, Pretentioner seat belts with load limiters.
