Honda to launch BR-V compact SUV Tomorrow
With less than twenty hours left when wait for highly awaited compact SUV Honda BR-V by Japanese car maker Honda Motors will come to end after its launch tomorrow in Indian car market. Speculated to be offered with price tag between Rs. 8 lakh and Rs. 12 lakh the bookings of this compact SUV have been already commenced by car maker by charging token amount of Rs. 21,000 by most of the dealers at their end across the country.

The engine configurations will include 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine boosting the power of 118bhp and torque of 145 Nm and power of 98.6 bhp and torque of 200 Nm respectively. Both the engines are mated with six speed manual transmission system along with CVT automatic transmission system followed by paddle shifters. It is reported that petrol variant of BR-V deliver an impressive average of 15.4 kmpl while the CVT automatic version will deliver an average of 16 kmpl. The diesel version is reported to deliver an ARAI verified average of 21.9 kmpl.

The compact SUV has length of 4,456 mm, width of 1,735 mm and height of 1,666 mm and wheelbase of 2,662mm followed by ground clearance of 210mm. It will be offered in four trims namely E,S,V and VX. Apart from offering comfort seating experience to seven passengers the vehicle is blessed with spacious boot space of 223 litre, however if you have extra stuff than it offers the facility of fold third row seat and enhance the boot space up to 691 litre.
