Honda City all set to grab Pakistan car market

The Pakistan wing of Japanese car maker Honda has begun production of Honda City sedan after it came to a halt due to the floods in Thailand. Notably, the production of the City sedan and other Honda cars sold worldwide was severely affected due to the earthquake and ensuing Tsunami in Japan and later on the floods in Thailand. It took more than six months for the car maker to resume production in India but by then the launch of Honda Brio small car got delayed. Significantly Honda City sedan is quite popular sedan in Pakistan as it among the best selling sedans in India.

As per the information about the resumption of production of Honda City in Pakistan, the sedan is now also offered in a new series Honda City Aspire. This is just an upgradation of the existing Honda City inside and outside. The new sedan has much more appealing looks than the current generation City and is expected to prove its reentry in Pakistan right. The interiors of the new City have a full screen navigation system along with a perfectly matching multimedia system that takes car the occupants remain entertainment on the go. Side indicators have found a place on the outside rear view mirrors.

Back in India, Honda is aggressively preparing to launch the Honda City diesel and Honda Civic diesel. Meanwhile Honda Brio is fast catching up and the sedan City and Brio both remained the heroes of the sales in April. The Honda Brio is being placed at a price band where it challenges Hyundai Eon by the Koreans and Maruti Alto by the Indian car maker.
