Honda City awarded 5 star rating in NCAP Test
The Japanese automaker Honda has succeeded to get 5-star NCAP rating for its sedan Honda City held in Latin recently. The version of Honda City undergone crash test has been launched recently in Latin America. NCAP gives ratings to car on a scale of 1 to 5 after performing safety and crash tests. Recently launched vehicle achieved five stars in Adult Occupant Protection and four stars in Child Occupant Protection. The car comes equipped with safety features such as pretensioners, frontal airbags for driver and front passenger, SBR, ABS and ISOFIX anchorages that improved child safety levels.
Honda City is available in two trims namely 4 Cylinder, DOHC i-DTEC diesel engine that churns the power of 100PS at 3600rpm and a peak torque of 200NM at 1750rpm whereas petrol trim features 4 Cylinder, SOHC i-VTEC unit that boosts the power of 119PS at 6600rpm and torque of 145NM at 4600rpm.
