Honda City recalled due to faulty power windows
The latest news is that one of the leading carmakers of India, Honda Motors have decided to take 72,ooo City cars back. The reason they have told is the power window switch which has been a glitch in the cars. Honda plans to take back 72,115 cars produced between 2005 and 2007, in order to fix the glitch.

This will be one of the biggest take back call from Honda. Previously they had done the same thing for the same glitch in January 2010. They took back 8,532 cars to replace the faulty power window switch.
This clearly states the company's policy is to maintain its standards and quality, and provide its customers with satisfation.

The problem in the power window switch at driver's side, is told to be its chances of melting and catching fire.
The fixation will be done free of cost of every owner. The dealers have already been informed about this, and the owners who have the 2005 to 2007 models, will be contacted by the company itself.

One of the officials from the Japanese car company said that they are taking back almost a million City cars from all over the world, and will replace the power window switch from them.
It is a huge step taken by Honda, and is expected to make its image even better among the people all over.
